As previously announced, NCSCE is establishing the Civic Engagement Partnership Support Awards Program as part of the SENCER-ISE (Science Education for New Civic Engagements and Responsibilities-Informal Science Education) II initiative.
Awards of $50,000 each will enable the formation of six partnerships. These partnerships will serve as the centerpiece of SENCER-ISE II, a major new three-year initiative funded by the National Science Foundation.
A PDF version of the RFP containing application instructions is now posted here. Completed applications should be sent to Hailey Chenevert, SENCER-ISE program assistant, at [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. (local time) on Friday, March 15, 2013 and awards will be announced on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Please note; as SENCER-ISE is funded by the National Science Foundation, all project activities must take place in the United States.
If you have any questions regarding the application, please contact Hailey Chenevert. For background on the SENCER-ISE II initiative, please see the original announcement published in an earlier issue of the eNews.
